Ingredients

1 Cup: Cooked Chickpeas
1/4 Cup: Grated carrots
1/4 Cup: Spinach
1/4 Cup: Green bell pepper  (chopped)
2 tbsp: Cilantro (coriander leaves)
1 tbsp: Mint leaves
1 cube: cheese of your choice (I used the Laughing cow soft cheese)
2: Green onions
1: Green chilli
2-3: Garlic cloves
1 inch:Ginger
1 tsp: Cumin powder
1/4 tsp:Crushed Pepper
1 tbsp: Oil
1/4 Cup: Semolina (Sooji) or  breadcrumbs                                                                                             Salt (As per taste)

Method

As simple as it can get, all you need to do is throw all the ingredients in a food processor (expect the semolina) and pulse it a few times. The texture needs to be slightly grainy, do not blend it to a complete paste.

Now, take some mixture between your palms (make sure to oil your palms a little bit, so the patties don't stick) and roll them to form patties and lightly coat them with semolina. The mixture might feel too soft to handle, but trust me, once the patties are grilled, they will firm up and be perfect!

Heat oil in a pan and add the patties. Remember, you really don't need more than 1 tbsp oil to grill these. In fact, adding more might cause the patties to break a part in the oil.

Grill the patties for a 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat.

Enjoy these super healthy snack with some green chutney!
